at multiple levels
by positively affecting the mind

When employed together, astrology (as psychological and spiritual diagnosis) and flower essence therapy (as a treatment of Mind) have the potential to bring about astounding, holistic healing. Astrology is the path to a rational understanding of the deeper causes of the problems we face, and to their higher purpose in our life direction, while flower essences offer support as therapeutic 'frequencies' that may facilitate the healing and transformational process.

Flower essences are created from the 'alchemical' synthesis of flowers, pure life-sustaining spring water, and life-giving sunlight. They are necessarily produced with reverence for the spiritual qualities within nature. They may be considered as 'amrita'. In the language of ancient Sanskrit this is the 'water of life' (amrita literally translates as 'immortal'.) In Western mythology, amrita would equate with ambrosia, the 'nectar of the gods'.

There are a great number of flower essence companies throughout the world today, producing essences from the magnificently abundant variety of flowers on our planet. The choice of ranges to employ in one's work must be an intuitive decision. The flower essences I have chosen for my own formulas have been sourced from reputable producers and from various parts of the world, especially the wilderness environments - from deserts to the tropics, as I find these the most beneficial for the spiritual issues my clients present.

However, my choice is not to be considered the definitive one, as every range has its own quality of energy. Also, I find there is often a natural resonance between oneself and the flower essence producers of the ranges we choose, as the producer's own qualities of mind have a subtle impact upon the flower essence tinctures they create, as well as upon their own choice of flowering plants to utilise for essences.

The effect of flower essence tinctures is purely and subtly vibrational. No substantial material from the plant is left in the water-brandy tincture. Therefore, there are no herbal effects that work directly on the physical body. For this reason, flower essences do not interfere with other modalities such as herbs, medical drugs, or homeopathic preparations.

Flower essence therapy is a unique tool as it has captured the positive thought-forms from the living flowers. Since the 1960s, scientific research has been proving that plants (as with all living things) have consciousness. Also, the recent research of Masaru Emoto has demonstrated the power of water to hold patterns of energy, whether of sound or emotional/mental emanations. Flower essences thus have the capacity to retrain our negative subconscious thought processes that potentially lead to severe illnesses, while at the same time stimulating insights into the causes of our deluded perceptions and negative states of mind.

To heal conditions of physical disease in the body, one must work on all levels at once: the physical, emotional, conscious-mental, and spiritual. Flower Essences can work beautifully at the spiritual level, often the most difficult level for us to shift or even recognise. Flower Essences are therefore a perfect complement to any other modality of healing.

The healing from flower essences is extremely refined, yet can affect every level of our consciousness, from the gross to the subtle states of mind, thus producing transformations at the emotional, mental, and especially spiritual levels of consciousness. These changes, in turn, may eventually affect even our physical condition, as the body itself is an expression of 'Mind'.

No other modality apart from spiritual healing, or intense meditation practices, can work this deeply. And the most superb aspect of this treatment is that flower essences are always uniquely self-adjusting. Being the spiritual essence of flowers, they cannot damage an individual if mis-prescribed. They are also effective, and can be used with confidence, for children and babies, as well as plants, birdlife, and animals. And while they do not interfere with the effectiveness of other modalities employed to target physical healing (whether allopathic, traditional, or alternative), they may actually enhance or quicken the results from other therapies or modalities.

Flower essences may speed recovery from many conditions. However, if the body's physical health is severely compromised, they may be too slow-acting on their own, and other methods of healing should always be employed in these instances, with flower essences supporting the process at higher levels of Mind.

Through the course of my astrological work with clients, I had come to the conclusion that in order to negate the self-sabotage programs that many people were running, I had to literally recreate the vibrational pattern of their astrology charts with a large number of flower essences so that each person's entire being was supported. No weaknesses were left unchecked, and all gifts, talents, and career options were reinforced. This, at last, brought the awareness, growth, and change these people were seeking.

Yet, there was a further step I needed to implement to make this form of healing practical within a clinical situation. I discovered that by creating my own standard flower essence formulas at the 'stock' level (before dilution into dosage bottles), I could then combine complex formulas together at the dose level, as though they were each a single (but comprehensive!) flower essence; and each stock formula also worked well on its own when dispensed singly for specific issues. Whether taken orally under the tongue (the traditional approach) or sprayed externally on the person or in the immediate environment, the results have been marvellous!

Blessing the Remedies

I also discovered an increase in the potency of not only each individual stock formula, but also of the individually dispensed remedies, when I began to recite Buddhist mantras over each bottle dispensed, including the appropriate visualisation. My clients then began contacting me to ask why their current formula batch seemed more powerful and immediate than the last.

The Buddhist mantras I use are those for which I have received Empowerments from Tibetan Lamas; and I select these according to the target issues of the formula mix. At first I was concerned (and bewildered as to my decision!) about taking on so many Tantric Buddhist Commitments, until I discovered that this is a traditional practice among Tibetan doctors who also receive a number of Empowerments so as to implement these healing powers in the production of their herbal medicines.

As with the work of Tibetan Doctors, it matters little whether a patient or client is of Buddhist belief or not. The importance is in the dedication and mental focus of the physician. Buddhist Deities are both archetypal and Transcendent Bodhisattvas, expressions of pure consciousness. Following is the list of Deity practices I am able to employ when dispensing flower essence remedies:

• Medicine Buddha (always invoked for all healing treatments of remedies)
• White Tara (always invoked for physical ailments)
• Ushnisha Sitatapatra (often invoked to assist with protection from self-sabotage [maras])
• Green Tara (to help remove obstacles, to offer courage and inner strength; to assist one to become active in the world with one's gift)
• Vajrasattva (especially for purification—this is also a great one for a predominant Virgo frequency in the birth chart)
• Guru Rinpoche (Padmasambhava) (especially helpful when spiritual strength is required; and also when useful psychic gifts [sidhis] are blocked)
• Vajrapani (the subduer of our inner demons; to assist with power issues—& a special invocation used over the Power-Up formula)
• Manjushri (invoked for all matters of accessing one's Wisdom for the benefit of others: for those with blocked writing/teaching skills)
• Chenrezig (Avalokiteshvara) (invoked when the develpment of compassion is needed or has been stifled)

Flower essences, being of the nature of pure resonant frequencies, are somewhat delicate. While they do survive long plane trips in the ozone, across vast oceans, they can diminish in potency when directly exposed to particular environmental conditions, and should be treated with respect by:

While most flower essences are quite sensitive to these artificial fields, I have found that the four traditional Reiki symbols and the Buddhist mantra blessings that are utilised in my dispensing of each individual remedy (as well as in the creation and dispensing of the stock formulas) actually do protect the flower essences beyond what I had once thought possible! This has been most evident in formulas that can stimulate physical responses, such as with the Parasite Cleanse formula.

There are several ways to ingest flower essences, including the two principle methods of internal and topical application. The traditional approach is to use a dropper to add several drops of the flower essences to a glass of drinking water, or to drop them directly under the tongue. The second approach, which I utilise, is to spray the flower essences directly onto the person or subject to be affected. I have found the external spray method to be more immediately effective (and preferable, particularly for children, due to the brandy solution), especially when sprayed on the crown of the head. Below, are listed some additional suggestions.

With care, a dosage bottle should keep well for at least a year, especially if it is a formula for irregular use, such as my Cuts Stings & Burns formula. For best results with personal formulas, it is advisable to continue a regular course of at least one entire 60ml (regular size) spray-top dosage bottle (administered at least twice per day) for one month (being a complete Moon Cycle, with the transiting Moon influencing one's entire astrological birth chart over that period, and hence the entire contents of our mind-stream at the subconscious level).

Flower essences are more effective when administered more frequently rather than in higher doses, the 'quantity' being only the carrier substance (brandy and spring water in this instance). (A discount is available for multiple 60ml bottles of the same formula, when longer-term use is preferred.) Following are some suggestions for use:

This may be of benefit for immediate issues, with the birth chart clarifying the underlying general challenges involved. The astrology employed here is specifically for the flower essence formula selections.

These sessions are available by appointment: in person, by phone, or internet voice-call (with no session recording, though you are welcome to record the session at your end). Where these methods are not convenient, email is also available for brief consultations at the same rate, unless a quick email can describe precisely the formulas required - where there is no time-charge.

The fee per session is AU$25* per 15-minute blocks of time, up to one hour maximum (excluding the time for dispensing the essences).
The additional cost of the Flower Essences (& postage where required) is dependent on the bottle quantity ordered. There is no limit, within reason, to the number of formulas combined in the one bottle.

60ml is the regular and suggested size; a 15ml bottle can be available for occasional use, such as the Cuts Stings & Burns or the Survive! formulas); and the 125ml bottle is available from time to time only, mostly for frequent environmental use such as with the Pure Space and Demon Deflector formulas, etc

Each dosage bottle is individually prepared, blessed with particular Buddhist mantras to suit your healing needs, and made only on demand.

For those interested in astrological references, especially pertaining to the asteroids: My work with flower essence therapy seems to have been predetermined by my own mind-stream before my birth, as the asteroids Bach (which can relate to not only Johann Sebastian, but also Dr. Edward Bach, the founder of modern Western flower essence therapy) and Amritdas (which can be translated from Sanskrit as 'servant of the Amrita') are together and both opposite my Ascendant on which we find the asteroid Ceres, the goddess ruling the plant kingdom; meaning, these three themes are to be brought together for the benefit of others, and I am but a servant to the 'life-giving' higher frequencies of the plants. Of course, with Flora next to my Moon's position as well, it has been the flowering part of the plant that has fascinated me.
