The Consultation with Kerrie

It is important to appreciate that a single astrology session with any astrologer cannot encompass all the details of your entire chart, nor is it a fixed interpretation, but should be pertinent for the present stage of your evolution. Each astrologer will have his/her own orientation to the energies presented in the birth chart. Also, various themes may need to be explored at different times, or information may need to be updated at a later time as you progress through your personal challenges and developmental awareness.

My personal Astrology sessions involve confidential dialogue (rather than a monologue of information), so that ideas can be thoroughly explored with your full participation.

Sessions can be booked within a flexible time-frame, from a minimum of 1 hour (which would normally require at least another session for a more thorough appraisal); 90 minutes is a recommended minimum for most Initial Sessions; and up to 2 hours maximum if via the internet or phone; and up to 4 hours in person (or in two 2-hour internet/phone sessions).

For deeper work and progress checks, a Follow-up session may involve a single session, or a series of follow-up sessions (from 15-minutes to a number of hours, as required) . The Bodhi-mind Yogacara Astrology™ system brings greater clarity to the past-life patterns that have been subtly influencing the events of this present lifetime, as well as clarity to one's individual purpose. And it ensures that the information given is relevant for your current use of the energies presented within the birth chart—which you have been refining throughout life.

Especially for Initial Sessions, depending on your budget, or the nature of the information/direction you require, my preparation of your personal astrology chart can be minimal or can take up to a day to complete—even though the mathematical calculations are completed in seconds by computer. Lengthy research into your chart can be due to the inclusion of a significant number of asteroids which have to be sifted for relevance (from a list of more than 11,000!).

For those on a budget, asteroids can be added to the chart while the session is in progress, eliminating the need for a Research Fee; and more asteroids can be investigated during further sessions, if required. Though, it is necessary to appreciate that the amount of information offered without the research time will necessarily be less, but can be tailored to suit a particular issue.

Asteroids—the 'Body-Text' of the Chart

Over the past 17 years (since 1993), I have been compiling Asteroid files into more than 300 specific categories for faster access to their positions in your chart as themes emerge in our dialogue. Asteroids have been named by astronomers for places (countries, cities, & rivers, lakes), people (both historical & extant), mythological & religious themes from almost every culture, organisations, abstract concepts, virtues, emotions, plants, animals, sea creatures & shells, colours, etc, etc; and they have always proven to resonate with their namesakes, as do the planets in our solar system with their own mythological themes.

There are many life-themes that can be assisted through asteroid analysis. Also, past-life issues may be involved in any area of our life, and can be included in an Astrology consultation where relevant.

Examples of Consultation Themes That May Be Explored

Below are a number of examples of types of consultation themes that have proven to be highly beneficial. They may vary in the time required for each consultation. 1 hour is a minimum for an initial consultation; 90 minutes or 2 hours is often more practical, depending on the theme. And a series of sessions can be highly beneficial for a fuller interpretation (see my Bodhi-Mind Support Program™ page).

  (also involving an exploration of unconscious recurring self-sabotage patterns; requires minimum 4-hour session; or preferably a series of shorter sessions)

  (useful for those who are confused as to finding a suitable spiritual or philosophical direction through a school of spiritual / religious / philosophical thought; some example themes from the asteroids: Taoism, Buddhism [Tibetan, Chinese, Japanese, Zen themes], Shintoism, Hinduism, Islam, Christianity [Catholic, Protestant, Jesuit, Franciscan]; plus past-life religious themes that may be pertinent for this life ... And some philosophical movements and themes can be helpful through such asteroids as 'Rudolfsteiner', 'Swedenborg', 'Karl Marx', 'Kant', 'Descartes', 'Nietzsche', 'Plato', 'Aristoteles', 'Pythagoras', 'Avicenna', and even 'Navajo' and 'Hopi', as well as a great many others.)
• Particular Past-Life Issues as Present-Life Recurring Patterns
  (everything we experience and react to, has its roots in past-life conditions now imprinted in the mind-stream and hence brain.)

• The Bodhi-Mind Support Program™
  Bodhi—"awake". This obligation-free program has been developed to assist with the ongoing challenges of transforming the Hades and Admetos concepts into the field of the Gift. It can be highly beneficial at the start-up of a business or new venture, or when in the midst of inner changes demanding a new level of awareness for personal or professional growth. What Are Transits?

Hindsight for Clarity — Foresight for Opportunity. Many clients have benefited from religiously booking yearly or 6-monthly Transit Update sessions for clarification and direction concerning the year or month ahead.

These are not "predictions" but trends that can be calculated as to the type of outer astrological influences one may personally experience during a selected time-frame, when studied against the backdrop of one's own astrological birth chart (again, representing the "hard-wiring" of the neural net in one's brain at birth). There may be challenges arising that, once understood, can be utilised for spiritual, personal, or career advancement.

As an analogy, if a large wave is approaching behind an individual in the surf, it is impossible to predict exactly how the wave will impact upon that individual, yet we can see the wave advancing. However, if the swimmer is warned of the wave's approach, there can be choices made such as a deliberate dive to escape the violent dumping, or riding the wave to shore. The warning is useful information.

Astrological transits are no different from this. A skilled astrologer who has thoroughy understood both the challenges and the aspirations evident within a client's astrological birth chart, can assist the client to use these frequencies wisely, to steer around past-life obstacles in the way, and to use the challenges as opportunities for growth at all levels.

All astrological transits are purely vibrational frequencies impacting upon our brain circuitry in real time. However they can produce emotional reactions, based on past-life experiences of these same frequencies, which are no longer valid in this life. The astrologer becomes the reality check for the client, and the client is empowered to bring about the best outcome and use of these frequencies in fulfilling his or her current inner or outer goals.

Yearly/Monthly Transit Consultations

A single Transit session is most usually booked to cover a 6-month or 12-month period of personal transits; or, in some cases, a detailed astrological exposé of a past event for clarification and closure.

Transit sessions can now be booked for briefer forcasts by the month or so in mini-sessions of a minumum 15-minute duration (fees based on 15-minute increments). These mini-sessions can be more efficient, immediate, and affordable.

It is also possible to analyse the transiting effects on the birth charts of businesses, as the beginning or registration of a business will be harmonically linked to the birth chart of its founder. So it is still a quality of "mind", and businesses have lives of their own, with challenges and aspirations visible in the chart of its foundation. As the great Chinese sage of antiquity, Lao Tsu, had stated, "the beginning holds the seed of all that is to follow".

It is recommended for optimum effectiveness that a personal or business astrology session, covering at least the basic issues (and especially any self-sabotage issues) within the birth chart, be completed with me before we can embark on a Transit session together.

Do I Need to Be a Buddhist to Gain From a Yogacara Astrology Session?

No, you do not need to be a Buddhist to have an Astrology Consultation with Kerrie. Buddhist psychology is universally applicable to everyone, and as a science of 'mind' it is closer to the discoveries of quantum theory than Western Psychology.

Being at least 'open' to the possibility of reincarnation is vital for the comprehension of the 'cause and effect' themes found in the birth chart (even though this is not part of Buddhist practice). Also, the basic philosophies of all major religions agree on the vital points of compassion, kindness, and generosity to others. Buddhism (not strictly a religion) is focused on our own inner development and does not 'get in the way' of other religions.

How Do I Book a Session?

1. Before booking a session with any astrologer, it is vital that you do all in your power to clarify the accuracy of your birth time. If the time is vague, in dispute, or unknown, there are possible ways to find it. Contact Kerrie for details.
2. Once you have your birth-date, birth-place and birth-time organised, go to Kerrie's Astrology Session Booking Form page and fill in the details and hit the SEND Button. (It is important to include your contact details in case Kerrie needs to reach you prior to the session, and also for ease of delivery should you require CD copies of your future sessions, or flower essences, etc, at any time.)
3. Kerrie will then contact you (usually by email) and arrange a suitable appointment time with you.
4. Once the session date is fixed, it is advisable to then send Kerrie a AU$100 deposit if this is an Initial Session. (This will help to negate any subtle sabotage on the day! Believe me!) This begins the commitment for both parties. The balance will be due on the day of the session, after its completion.

5. Kerrie will email or Skype-send your computer birth chart to you in advance for your reference during your session. It will contain all the regular planets, 6 asteroids only (limited by the software), 8 Transneptunian Points, the Moon's Nodes, the Vertex, and Part of Fortune.
   Other asteroids will be discussed during the session which will be audio-recorded for you and sent as mp3 files via Skype or Dropbox.com, or as audio CDs in the mail (postage is a little extra).

Yes: if you are somewhat astrology-literate, I can also offer you a plain text (.txt) file of your personal list of around 11,200+ (to date) named asteroids in zodiac order (listing their longitude; house position; conjunctions to planets, Moon, North Node and MC & IC; cycle in years; and basic category*, as per Albert Timashev's Phaethon program: Legends, Myths, Names, Ideas, Geo [places]; Famous; and Actual) for AU$15; and in both zodiac and alphabetical order (also with all above *category references) for AU$25.

Notes

Asteroids are rocks in predictable orbits in our solar system, largely between Mars and Jupiter where there should have been a planet according to the Titius-Bode Law. The planet never formed due to disturbances from Jupiter's enormous gravitational field. Named asteroids can be any size from around 900km in diameter to small rocks.
